My first experience Magee women's hospital was well over 30'years ago one of my favorite cousins gave birth there I was in high school at the time but I remember thinking wow this is a really nice hospital back then everybody usually went to McKeesport hospital Magee was a welcome and wonderful new option.....now I'm going to be a grandmother for the first time but my son loves in Florida he posted that he wished his son could be born at Magee just for a terrible towel LOL!!!
I can say overall I really like this hospital! I have been a patient here multiple times and never had any issues until I had my daughter! Besides one nurse, every nurse I had was rude and the PCT's weren't that great either! I went through a lot from having the idiotic doctor I had saying there was something wrong with me because of my high heart rate to the LPN on the first night who snatched my daughter out of my hands because I wasn't holding her correctly while trying to breastfeed! And it just went down hill from there... read more
It's aways nice there, the staff take care of all your needs. Dr. Ramanath staff is great.
This place is wonderful! I was there for a premature labor and delivery. I was out soon, but my baby had to stay in the NICU for a while. The staff for both me and my baby were amazing! I got to know the staff there and they were so nice and supportive the entire time! I would recommend this facility to anyone!

Clean and very nice. Everyone from desk on was polite and helpful. Great nurses, doctors, assistants and cafeteria workers! Pleasant as an experience as a hospital can be!!! Thank you. A special shout out for the food!! Very good!!
