My boyfriend was at magee after having a stroke in July and they were excellent

My son Wayne was a patient at Magee from February 15th - June 7th after a Spinal Cord Injury C5-C7 from a car accident. Magee welcomed us with open arms and gave us the support we needed to accept our new way of life. Wayne went to Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy with the best therapists. The atmosphere in the gym was happy and the support was top notch. We live out of state and Magee allowed me to stay with Wayne with the Jerry Segal Fund low cost housing program. Everyone was so accommodating. The physical therapists and ots were like a big family. I really miss it there. I would recommend to anyone!!!!!!!!!!
My Son Patrick Stuart was there for two months and had the best Treatment from everyone there, they make you believe.
No one plans a traumatic injury and the complications at ensue because of an event. With that being said, it's comforting to know that RIGHT here in the Philadelphia region we're fortunate to have an outstanding community resource. Prior to my injury, I never knew that this facility and its staff were here or needed, but after 12 years of association I have witnessed why it's so vital and relevant. I am currently a patient here and have been for almost 2 weeks now. The staff is kind, caring, and dare I say even loving. They focus on making the patients here, at least from my experience, as comfortable as possible. This physical and occupational therapy teams push you to do your best but to not overdue it or hurt yourself. They are kind and compassionate.
