Retired CPA, lived here 2+ years. Taluswood may not be a good place in particular for those who work at home, are retired, or who cannot afford sizeable, annual rent increases. Why? Continual construction noise, future sizeable rent increases likely to pay for it. More: 1. The apartment buildings are 30-40 years old and the walls are "paper thin" unlike newer apartments bound by noise abatement construction codes. 2. I have lived here for 7yrs and I absolutely love it here. The management and staff is awesome. Ally and Kat are amazing whenever I have questions or an issue they are quick to help me with it. When this whole corona virus thing happened Ally reached out to me when things got tough and helped me through it all, just her empathy and words of kindness helped she is an amazing manager and her staff is equally amazing as well!!!!
Reading through the negative comments here from recent to past I can honestly say nothing seems to have changed whatsoever, that's amazing. The complaint made years ago (it reads 10) is still a complaint of today. Someone mentioned greed, yes..rich slums. Very lazy staff, uncaring for sure. No stars really but I must put in at least one.
Can't recommend Taluswood! I've got photos posted on other reviews. New Security Property mgr is just as bad as previous Waterton, both lack accountability to residents, both are fiscally irresponsible to the upkeep and maintenanace of a 500-unit property, both have poorly trained revolving office staff that can't organize a simple schedule for inspections. Taluswood Apartments is the ABSOLUTE WORST place I have ever lived in my life. And I was in the Army living in barracks, occupied territories and war zones. Please do yourself a favor, if you are considering moving in here DON'T SIGN THE LEASE! The staff here seems to not know what they are doing. I've heard disagreements between workers many of times. I dread going into the office because their attitude and and customer service is bad. Not to mention when I have a maintenance issue it takes forever for it to get fixed. There have been a few times that I've had even the maintenance supervisor(I believe he is the supervisor/Mexican guy) come to fix a problem and say he will come back and never did. We have been living here now for 6 months and it has been the worst experience I have ever had. They fit the complete mold of slumlords. They never answer the phone so be prepared to take time off of work to actually go into the office and talk to them, for them to tell you its just been so busy all day as you're the only one in the office the entire time as they are sitting down watching movies on the couch. If I could leave a NEGATIVE-5 stars I would. I can't leave a review without marking a star and trust me that's the ONLY reason I did. Surely you people can at least read? When my family and I moved into Creek View Crossing three years ago we moved into a beautiful property with lush, clean grounds and a professional staff. I give it a negative 5 stars. This company is the worst. Dont ever be late, it will go straight to eviction and the only way you can make any sort of payment arrangement is through the court. I lost my job and have had no income since oct 23rd,the salvation army was going to pay january's rent of $999 only if they would make payment arrangements with me for the back pay.
