great food and value – Love this place. good for vegetarians and non vegs will find satisfying meals. Get the malai kofta-everyone i go with tries to eat mine when i let them sample it. rasam soup is also great if you like spicy!
Not good anymore. Horrible service and food quality is greatly detoriated – Don't even think abt it. I had a bitter experience earlier. Still I tried and went again since my wife loves south indian food. However, this was my last time. Sloppy service. Keep waiting. Staff don't even care to check if you need anything and you have to go to counter to ask for something. Are they still running a restaurant ??????? Incredible Authentic, Vegetarian Indian Food – I recently went to Madras Saravana Bhavan and had a great experience. My friend and I were seated immediately and received our food within five minutes of ordering! The servings were huge and the prices very reasonable. The atmosphere was simple and clean and the servers were friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant to vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike.
4 times and always disappointed with buffet – Buffet is extremely disappointing. Selection is poor, food is 'run of the mill'. Dishes are not refilled. Puran poli - was hard and chewy like a biting on a plastic. Plates and cutlery were not clean (you could see the grease) Restroom has only ONE sink. Not suitable for families with babies - no changing facility. Not recommended.
Service And food – Love the food. You can't find better south indian food anywhere. They are also very accomadating in fixing the food a certain way if you ask. They are willing to least try to make to order. The service is left to be desired. Sometimes it is a crap shoot to ge the right waiter when you need something. Some are really good and some are very bad. Tables are always clean and bus staff are excellent and willing to help outside thier own job description. DELICIOUS food! – This place has great south indian fare. Everything was delicious. I have to go against the CS review and say that Vadai are lovely and recommended. They are little savory fried doughnuts with coconut chutney and sambar. I would never pass these up at a South Indian place. It reminds me of breakfast in India. And they make the best authentic chai I have had. If you are looking for heavy meaty north indian food, this is not for you.
Amazing food, and I'm Indian! – This is by far the gem of Atlanta..I am from California, and we don't have anything like this there...this food ranges from North India to the South, and all is delicious. When my parents come to visit, we go here around 2-3 times in a 4 day span since they can't get enough of the food as well.. it's a bargain, good food, good ambience, and good flavors... nothing but high marks.. when I move from Atlanta, this will be the place that I miss the most! Consider our city lucky to have it!
Best South Indian in Town – Really great food!! Whenever someone asks me what's the best Indian in Atlanta, I tell them about MSB. FYI...I'm South Indian, and this food isn't what we really eat for our regular meals, its what we eat for breakfast.
