I was admitted to Baptist Hospital East Louisville for a foot infection & swollen knee which was thought to possibly have spread to my knee. Dr. Yakkanti monitored my condition over a 4 day period while I was there. He was very thorough with every visit & took time to answer any questions I had. His bedside manner was very gentle & assuring. I am very happy to have him as my orthopedic dr. And would recommend him to everyone.
I enjoy my visit to see Dr. Yakkanti. I have no problem with him.
One year post check up on hip replacement. That was my second hip replacement and would recommend Dr. Yakkanti to everyone. Always pleasant and explains procedures.

Dr. Yakkanti has been treating my knee for awhile now. He has been quite a professional. He is very nice and explains everything in detail. We are in the process of doing surgery on it later in the year. I have heard great reviews on his skills.
One year follow up from emergency hip/femur replacement due to cancer deterioration. Dr. Yakkanti was caring, attentive to multiple follow up questions, explaining concerns and medical expectations with ongoing physical limitations. I find great encouragement to press on, in due partly to his positive approach.
Dr. Yakkanti explains procedures very thoroughly and clearly. After my surgery, he and his staff were accesible to answer any questions and concerns I had.
Dr. Yakkanti is very professional and thoroughly explains the information. He is straightforward and very experienced. I have heard other patients of his say what a "great" doctor he is. He has the experience and credentials that I was looking for in a doctor to do my hip surgery.
