Dr. Yakkanti is highly professional and fully knowledgeable in his field. He explains procedures with easy understanding and answers questions with patience. He has a very nice bedside manner. I’ve only had one long wait that wasn’t minded at all. His staff is beyond reproach: Sarah and Cindy have been most helpful to me. My total knee replacement was a good experience and I was good in 6 weeks. Ready for the other knee which I’ll approach with positivity.
Diagnosed my condition and scheduled my total hip replacement quickly. Highly recommend Lou Orthopedic and Dr. Yakkanti if your having hip pain.
After reading reviews of Dr Yakkanti I was concerned about long wait times, yet having photographed multiple orthopedic surgeries in the past as a medical photographer, I knew that is always a concern for surgeons as often unexpected complications can occur causing delays. Pro tip: ask the staff when your doctor does most of his surgeries. Often it is either morning or afternoon, or in some cases on specific days. It is a very busy practice, however it was not a long wait to see providers. My issue seems to stymie providers, although this practice did mention some possibilities no one else did.
I had a total hip replacement and was back playing golf in 6 weeks. Dr Yakkanti is excellent…along with his staff. He respects his clients time as shown through his running of appointments ON TIME!!! I would highly recommended him to others if the need for joint replacement presents itself!
I was very impressed with Dr Yakkanti. He is very professional, caring, and helpful to me during my knee replacement and all my office visits.
My visit with Dr. Yakkanti went quite well. He and his staff were very thorough, professional and kind. I received a lot of helpful information and got answers to all of my and my wife’s questions. Facing surgery is a bit overwhelming but I feel better prepared for it after talking with Dr. Yakkanti.
The doctor was extremely honest and friendly, answered all our questions. Showed us a model of the implant he would use, and how it would be installed.
As usual Louisville Orthopedic was responsive, helpful and kind, as was Dr. Yakkanti. Very thorough, professional, knowledgeable, personable and able to quickly diagnose and treat. Will consider him my go to hip doctor going forward. Feel lucky to have found him.
