I am a physician and am aware of the professional reputation of my colleagues. Dr. Yakkanti is well known for secondary shoulder repair. After a severe injury, my 1st surgery resulted in a "failure to heal", likewise for the 2d. Dr. Yakkanti performed a difinative procedure the last one I will require
This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a doctor. He told me to ignore and just accept the pain caused by my genetic condition (frequent dislocations, sublaxations and chronic joint pain). He told me just "don't think about it" and not to do anything about it. He offered no advice or plan of care to spare my body and further pain and joint damage. I wasn't there for pain meds but felt as if he was accusing me of it! I know my body. I know my pain. He disregarded it all.

Dr. Yakkanti performed shoulder and hip surgery on my 84 yr old mother after a fall , I cannot thank him enough . She is doing very good . I am so thankful he was on call when she came into the ER .
Procedure experience was as stated by Dr Yakkanti. Team, timing and immediate post-recovery experience was impeccable. Very satisfied as of 5 hr post procedure.
