First off, all Irwindale and Madera dropped the King of the Wing for 2016 for several reasons. Like poor fan turn out with less than 500 fans at each of the 2014, and 2015 King of the Wing Madera races, 2016 could have soft car counts so it was not a good deal for our track (we lost 20k in two years on the King of the Wing shows), and our fans that would complain about how the show has gone down hill for 2016. One of my favorite tracks to come too! I really like how organized they are in getting the races going! I've only been to Madera a few times and I've enjoyed it every time!!!
I like the madera speedway been goin since I was a kid. It has been getting better now that 51/50 joined them. The one thing that I feel needs attention is the bleachers every weekend we go they are dirty a quick rinse couldn't hurt. But we still have fun. Thank you
We go every weekend. My only issue is that they allow people to stand by the fence at the top of the ramp/stairs. When people do this the fans whom sit in the bottom row can't see anything thing in turn four and half of turn three sometimes.
It was fun. Of course my wife, son and I loved watching the late models but I have to say... The barrel race was super fun. Haven't seen a race like that before and we loved it. Look forward to going back!
