My niece was rushed there by ambulance 3 times in a one week period. The doctors at this hospital treated her like a drug addict looking for pain meds. She was/is in extreme pain and one of her doctor's actually laughed at her. It wasn't until she was taken to St. Agnes that she was actually treated like normal human and they were able to diagnose her condition, gall bladder needs to be removed. The Madera Community hospital should be embarrassed about how they treat their patients.
RecommendedI LOVED IT FROM THE RN's TO NA's THEY ALL WERE GOOD TO MEDIDNT HAV ED TOWAIT NO MORE THEN 2 MIN ON ANYTHING IF THEY DIDNT HAVE WHAT I NEEDED THEY GO GET IT AND BE BACK FASTI WAS THERE FOR 9 DAYS AND THERE WERE ON EVERYTHING X-RAYS TO CT SCANDIDNT HAVE TO WAIT THAT LONG LIKE SOME ER's MCH KEEP UP THE GOOD JOB ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND STAFF WAS NICE
I actually hadn't been there in a long time I took my daughter there waiting room is horrible filthy dirty and disgusting we didn't have to wait too long but once we went back the staff was very nice the nurses were very nice they just really need to give that waiting room a makeover it looks horrible
My husband was in your hospital at least 15 or 16 times in less then a year and everyone took wonderful care of him. They knew us by name and teased him about just wanting to visit with them♥️ He passed almost 2 years ago but you did all you could for him. Thank you, Ardith Apling
it does not have a trauma unit
I recommend Madera Community Hospital. I worked here 5 years ago. Great care and lived in Madera most my life and all my family uses services at Madera Community Hospital and gotten excellent care.
