History: In 1954, Robert graduated from high school and chose to stay on the farm to help his dad. Together they began planting apples and peaches on 15 more acres of ground. They also built an 8000 bushel cold storage to help preserve the quality and freshness of the fruit harvested and sold on the farm and to wholesale outlets. It was a fun day! Lots of activities to entertain my children!
We enjoy the festival and I have went for over 10 years to this. However the prices have doubled on lot of things for the kids since last year. $4 a person for a carriage ride was also a bit much for a large family with several kids. So we were a little disappointed. We enjoy the craft vendors have on display, entertainment and people watching while we eat our apples.
Great cider- thought the festival was a bit over priced but enjoyed the time there.
Awesome place with amazing apples, cider and baked goods!
