History: In 1954, Robert graduated from high school and chose to stay on the farm to help his dad. Together they began planting apples and peaches on 15 more acres of ground. They also built an 8000 bushel cold storage to help preserve the quality and freshness of the fruit harvested and sold on the farm and to wholesale outlets. The orchard and store are fantastic! Please please please, though, tell the young men that are out directing traffic today to stop talking and messing around and actually direct traffic! Someone is going to get killed on Garden Road.
Picking apples is a tradition we started a few years ago. MacQueens has the best apples � and my girls love climbing the trees.
We had a great time. The donuts were worth the wait!!
