History: In 1954, Robert graduated from high school and chose to stay on the farm to help his dad. Together they began planting apples and peaches on 15 more acres of ground. They also built an 8000 bushel cold storage to help preserve the quality and freshness of the fruit harvested and sold on the farm and to wholesale outlets. Really disappointed this year met my husband there 28yrs ago so always make it a priority to go every year Apples were little overpriced (for own picking) and only had one size to choose from Seems more about the money then family time
