We drove here from Ottawa to help our kids move and our car started making some bad noises. I drive a low mileage, older car that I want to keep going for many more years to come. Started using MacLeod’s a couple years ago because of their longtime reputation. I’ve found it to be well earned. They provide clear info, reasonably priced repairs and prompt service. Just in this week unexpectedly for a serpentine belt replacement and asked them to give the car a once over. They advised a few extra repairs were needed soon-ish or in the near future — and with no pressure sales — which I appreciated.

Amazing service
Don’t trust this shop. I took my car in because the maintenance minder told me to check the disc brakes and replace the brake fluid. They cornered me, saying the rotor blades and shocks were gone and needed to be replaced—but they didn’t do anything about the brake fluid. They claimed that was something only the dealer does and dismissed it as a ripoff. Valid or not, I ended up spending nearly a thousand bucks on something I never expected.
