Dr. Mackie and her partner Dr. Miller have treated my allergy-induced asthma for years. Recently she prescribed an inhaler as a preventative that was not covered by my insurance company. She prescribed a second type of inhaler that was also not covered. Dr. Mackie is unlike any other doctor I have experienced. She is an extremely warm, funny, caring, individual who truly sits and takes the time in her office to discuss the issues you are having without dismissing your symptoms or staring at her watch. She knows the right questions to ask, and is thorough in her procedures. She is not one to shove medications on you if she does not find them necessary either; she is cautious in her diagnoses. So glad to have found her!
