The Mac Doctor Rocks I have no idea why anyone would rate this store less than five stars. I have had NOTHING but good service from them! I bought a used MacBook Pro from a "friend" He told me that the only problem was the wireless card. I was stupid and believed him. I went and had it looked at at a different store, and they told me that was an LCD issue or something and that it would cost a lot to fix, but said nothing else. Macbook The guys at Mac Doctor are awesome and I give them five stars for outstanding work. Brought my 15 inch macbook pro in to be checked out after everyone else declared it DOA because of the logic board. The folks there said this was a known issue and ordered in a new logic board, replaced my superdrive (which was already bad) and had it back to me in one week. They even loaded the OS onto the hard drive to make sure everything works. My MBP works great and they saved me the cost of a new laptop. Great service, fast turn... read more
Fixed My problem Over the phone I was referred to Steve by another devout mac guy. I do most of my own mac work, But when I get stumped i have to reach out to a pro. Steve was able to help me over the phone to do one of those top secret resets on our server.. Now I know where the button is and all is fine. I've since been taking my hard case problems into the store to get them fixed quick and affordable.
Consumers BEWARE!!!! My daughter, a student at UCF, left her computer w/MacDoctor (12/2007) for repair only to get a call that the store had been burglarized and her computer was gone! Scary, right?? Steve Lamb assured her it would take a little time (be patient) but it would be replaced through insurance. NOT TRUE!!! Many calls, many weeks that turned into months, (Imagine being without your computer for three months?!) his insurance company offered us approximately $500, not even close to enough to purchase a new Mac! terrible customer service - AVOID!!! My imac G5 has been there for over two weeks. Almost a week went by before I could track them down to see what needed to be fixed. They didn't call me back when they said they would...and they didn't fix the problem when they said it would be fixed. I understand that there are delays when ordering parts, etc, however, there is NO REASON not to communicate with customers. Steve is Fantastic After dealing with sub-optimal care from Apple "genius" folks, I found Steve. He was VERY fast to get the job done, and completely painless to work with. Having almost 100 Mac notebooks means I test Steve's service frequently. So far hes 10 for 10. In Steve we trust.
The MacDoctor is Great These guys rock. They fixed my MBP and got it all done in under a week. They kept me updated during the repairs and made my laptop look new again. I will be using these guys all the top. The guys at the Apple store just wanted to sell me another computer. These guys fixed what was broken and saved me a load of money. I just can't afford a new mac laptop every 3-4 years. These guys were awesome. GREAT JOB : )

Check here before going to the Mac Store I am a student in the Computer Animation degree program at Full Sail. Every time I take my Mac into the Mac Store some high school student, who more than likely knows less about computers than I do, tells me something like, "You're hard drive is messed up because you don't have this fancy new charger" (True story).
