I had one appointment at MLD Clinic in February 2026 and would not return. Throughout the session, the conversation kept drifting to the therapist's personal life rather than my treatment, which made it difficult to relax or feel that the appointment was about me. Some of the remarks made about my body also felt personal rather than clinical, and left me uncomfortable in a first-time appointment with a health practitioner. I came to the clinic to get help with lymphedema after cancer surgery. Terry was very knowledgeable and provided insight and information that had been helpful. I call Terry The Forensic Massage Therapist. He identified things I was feeling that I didn't even know weren't normal or could be fixed. The MLD Clinic program drastically reduced swelling throughout my body that I always kind of thought was a problem but couldn't seem to resolve with regular advice and treatments. I consulted Terry about advanced foot and leg swelling complicated by a small ulcer and lymphorrhea (weeping lymph fluid). That - combined with hip arthritis - impacted daily movement and walking.
