I have been waiting about a month for Lynnhaven Marine to come service my boat. I head they had a new mobile boat repair service so I thought I would try them out. They finally came out about 3 weeks after initially contacting them. They told me it was to complicated to do remotely and said they would arrange a tow. That was nearly 2 weeks ago. I have been a customer of Lynnhaven Marine service since we bought the Boston Whaler 280 Vantage new in 2021. Dave Uhl is a great asset and very helpful. When I need quotes or estimates, he stays in contact and is quick to respond. I have reached out to other marinas and waited weeks just to get an estimate and they’re mostly higher in price and can’t guarantee parts arrival times. Calibration and new gaskets and filters on my fuel injectors. Was told 24 to 48 hrs and wad done in 5 hours!
Picked up my boat today after its scheduled service. One and done with me. I expected more from Lynnhaven Marine. No communication with me regarding status of service or when service was complete. I had to initiate communication. I was told two separate times that I would receive a final cost notification, but I never heard anything. Took in excess of 30 minutes to get my bill invoiced and closed out then they tried overbilling me!
