Dr. Thomas got me through one of the hardest times of my life. When I asked the hard questions, she was straightforward and honest in the kindest of ways. She prepared me to face difficult decisions, and I made it through with her help. I will always remember her kindness and strength, and I'm thrilled with the surgical outcome! She did a great job. Once you have an appointment, you are committed, like it or not. Be careful. Lynn is a talented surgeon from what I hear. Her bedside manner is what brings her down a notch, she’s awkward. What drops the stars even lower is her office staff. I got a text about an appointment, I called and said they must have had it wrong, oh no, they had me scheduled for surgery 2 days later! My experience with Dr. Thomas began with her staff who were amazing - kind, patient and understanding. They worked hard to get me in as quickly as they could once I got my diagnosis. Dr. Thomas immediately put me at ease with her caring and understanding manner. She made sure both my husband and I understood everything at every point along the way. Dr. Thomas is very caring, compassionate, understanding, and easy to listen to when explaining all the difficult things that have been thrown at you in life. She is very good at what she does and thankful that I chose her to be my doctor. <3
I love her no nonsense, straightforward approach in creating a go forward game plan. My husband is an MD. He and many of his colleagues recognize and recommend Dr. Canavan as an expert. There is no substitution for the amount of experience and knowledge she possesses.
