I quit his practice after only a few visits because he was condescending and did not listen. He seemed to want to hear himself speak rather than hearing what I had to say. My current PCP is the opposite and I hope to stay with him a long time.
Dr. Walsh treats the labs on his computer screen and reviews the medications he sees there. He wants no part of getting to know his patient. He literally sits at the computer during the entire visit. If you try to speak with him about factors impacting your medical problem/labs, he will rudely tell you he does not want to know. I have never been so disappointed in a healthcare provider.
This guy and staff is horrible. He won’t even write an antibiotic prescription after sending us elsewhere to do a simple blood test and finding a kidney infection unless I set up another appointment and bring her in again while she has stage 4 lung cancer and is going through chemo and radiation. Lastly, front office staff is not allowed to go back to ask him a question while we are there and have to “send a message.”
Seems impateint and does not listen to patient's concern; It was not a two way comunication. As someone that is well informed about health conditions and takes a pro active role in one's health, I found him to be very dismissive of the patient. Unfortunately I do not think he is the right doctor for me.
Let me tell you my experience because this doctor is negligent towards his patients and completely unprofessional. My stomach ruptured in college due to a sepsis infection caused by prednisone. I also have epilepsy and have grand maul seizures. So earlier this month I got sick and threw up a bunch of my seizure medication. I called Dr. Lyle Walsh because I needed an early fill and he had the nerve to say I was abusing my medication. I was substance abuse counselor. Use other doctor not this fool
The office staff is great. Easy scheduling. That said, this is the absolute worst doctor I've ever seen. Unprofessional and sarcastic (heard him make disparaging remarks about other patients to nurses from the other side of the examination room door). Arrogance and titles of MD and PhD are dangerous where patient health is the stake. This doc's arrogance blinded him... he couldn't listen and missed so much. Wanted to like this doctor for he seemed smiley the first visit. Terribly disappointed.
Dr. Walsh has been very helpful in explaining exactly what my husband and I need to change in order to live healthier lives. His recommendations and encouragement to make changes that would keep up from having to take medications is greatly appreciated!!! I would highly recommend Dr. Walsh!!!!
I was simply looking for a general health doctor for regular visits when I found dr Walsh online. He has a wonderful personality and is a delight whenever I need to go to the doctors! He is very professional, knowledgeable, and feels like I'm chatting with an old friend!! I CANNOT recommend dr Lyle Walsh highly enough!
My experience with dr Walsh was over a period of 3 months. He was very dismissive and was obviously only a doctor for greed as his main concern was not on patient care but how much he could bill for the services. i would not send my worst enemy to this doctor.
Business response:
I follow all federal and State regulations and guidelines! To continue to receive dangerous medications, you must at least try to get better. I will not give out long term pain medications against these guidelines. If you find a doctor that does, be-ware. My first priority is your Health.
