It was pretty ok. Fish was amazing!!! Service impeccable.
If you go in with expectations then you may be disappointed- however if you stumble in, you will have a good time. Our party was a big group so we had a private dining experience. Due to the nature of the set up - I was expecting a more elevated experience however it did not meet that expectation and that’s the reason for my lower rating. The green ember mocktail was incredibly refreshing, perfect for summer. I also tried the new summer menu and highly recommend the fungi risotto, uni pasta, and heirloom roots.
We had such a great experience at Lyla! They’ve recently updated their menu, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The uni pasta was easily one of the highlights—rich, creamy, and packed with umami without feeling too heavy. The dry-aged steak was cooked perfectly, incredibly tender, and full of flavor. Overall a great experience food is tasty and service was great and considering it was a Saturday night the service and food didn’t take that long .. my only observation would be the menu upturns for dinner I was hoping to have more options .. and variety of food for dinner . The drinks even though we ordered non alcoholic drinks I feel it could be better they were tasting just like sparkling water and ice and not much flavour on it for a $16 drink .. expecting something better
