This was an amazing tour. Unlike any other sight I have ever seen. Truly a geological wonder, fortified with other attractions that include music that plays from the stalactites. This is a natural wonder very mysterious and spectacular and is much on the same grandeur as Niagara Falls and the Shenandoah Valley.

This was my first time seeing the caverns and I was not disappointed. Amazing! My only complaint is that our guide kept saying "stalaGtites" instead of "stalaCtites". Drove me nuts. "Stalagmites" (with a G) are the ones on the Ground, and "stalactites" (with a C) are the ones on the Ceiling. The cave itself was awesome. Everyone should be aware that it is NOT handicapped accessible.

This was the first time my husband & I have ever been in a cave. We live in South Georgia. My husband drives a semi so we been by the caves lots but unable to stop. We had to get a rental car to come get someone else's semi. Our first thought were the caves. Not knowing anything about them we just happened to pick Luray. I am 53 but acting like a child. While visiting our Timeshare at Massanutten, we decided to journey to Luray Caverns to experience this wonderful natural beauty. It was a journey beyond expectations with an excellent guide...Tabitha(Tabi) who gave this great summary of the caves history. From the first steps go down..I highly recommend Luray Caves .sam/Melinda.
Outstanding wonder of our world. Is a must see!! Get it on your bucket list ASAP! Found the tour guide very pleasant but really hard to make out, I thought it maybe had something to do with accents but when an American tourist asked us if we understood the narrative we realised we were not the only ones struggling with the audio.
