Dr Austin replaced my left shoulder, I’ve had an excellent outcome. I only care about a surgeon's skill, could care less about personality. But a kind person who listens and responds to questions with insight is a bonus!
Dr Austin operated on my traumatic injury to my right elbow. During the surgery he had to replace my shattered elbow and repair tendons. I am 8 weeks out from surgery and doing great. He did an incredible surgery and I am healing well. I didn’t know that you could have an elbow replacement but if you ever need this type of surgery Dr Austin’s experience, professionalism and personal care is the Doctor you need to see. Dr. Austin is a very professional , caring, knowledgeable surgeon! I had recently broken my left humerus in three places. After, being discharged from the hospital , I made an appointment to see Dr. Austin. Dr. Austin had X-rays taken. He showed me the X-rays and explained what he would have to do to repair my arm. Right , before surgery he stopped in to see me and quickly once again , what he was going to do during surgery. Surgery was successful ! Excellent doctor, procedure went very well. Followed post operation PT and recovering very well. His on line video exercises were very helpful.He will definitely do my other shoulder if I ever need it done.
I was very pleased. I had to get some x-rays first and I didn’t have to wait for them or wait to see the doctor. I was impressed.
