Recently saw Dr. Lugo for a pain in my right knee. Had knee replacement surgery in 2016, in NY by another physician. Dr Lugo and his staff were exceptional, professional and very accommodating. Diagnosed with bursitis. I was extremely relieved for that diagnosis. Prescribed muscle relaxers and Motrin as well as physical therapy. It is about a week and pain has been relieved. Physical therapy continues. I highly recommend this physician.
Dr. Lugo is an amazing doctor and an amazing person. My husband is 79 years old and needed a hip replacement. Dr Lugo understood how important this surgery was to my husband and was there to listen to his needs. Within a week he was walking without a cane and in two and a half weeks returned to a part time job. As busy as Dr Lugo is he took the time with the family to explain the procedure so we all knew we knew what to expect. I also rate his personality a 10. Super doctor!!!!
Excellent experience with Dr. Lugo. Very personable, thorough and complete, and willing to listen! He did explain the procedure, outcomes, and other possible solutions to my condition. Very pleased!
My only complaint is not with the doctor. It is the ridiculously protracted waiting time.
Dr. Lugo is an excellent physician and very caring. He and his partners would have many more patients if his practice did a much better job of scheduling patients. Yesterday had a 2:30 appointment and did not get called to see the doctor until 4:45. The office staff at the front desk have no clue on how to interact with waiting patients. Even though I like the doctor, the wait without explanation tells me the practice is disorganized. As a result will not be back to see the doctor.
