My daughter had always had a hard time emotionally, but it got really bad when she was in first grade. She had wild mood swings that got really alarming. When she said that she wasn’t sure she wanted to be alive anymore if this is what life is like I knew I had to act. Dr Manov helped us find the right meds for her and between that and counseling she’s doing so much better. We’re so glad to have our little girl back

I was originally diagnosed with anxiety and depression by my primary care doctor and I felt like I went through every antidepressant there was, but needed to add antipsychotics to get any relief. They were terrible to be on, so I was on and off for years. Dr Manov gave me a new diagnosis of bipolar II and put me on an entirely different class of medicine. I’ve been mostly stable for a long time now and I feel like I can finally live my life

He made his mind up about a diagnosis on the first visit before ever even trying to listen to me. He asked if I had mood swings, which I don’t, but he decided then and there that I was bipolar. I tried to share other symptoms and he refused to listen. He became rude and dismissive when I tried to share more of my experiences with him or ask about changing the diagnosis because it didn’t fit. I have been a patient with Dr. Manov for over 10 years. I have been dealing with very difficult Bipolar disorder for 25 years. Dr. Manov is by far the best Psychiatrist I have ever been to. He was quick to diagnose my mental health issues correctly and put me on the right kind of medication. I struggled for a year with my newfound anxiety with my GP, trying to find medications that worked. Then I started working with doctor Manov. He was able to find a good set of medications for me. My anxiety is way, way better now. He's respectful of my choices and his knowledge is medicine proved key in finding the right mix.

Dr. Manov has been my psychiatrist for the past (at least 12 years). I feel like my case can be a little tricky at times, but Dr. MANOV has yet to give up on me. I am so grateful to him for never throwing his hands up, or becoming “fresh out of ideas!” I have always been so grateful for all of Dr Manov’s help and support. Not once did he give up on me, for that I am so grateful to him. Dr. MANOV doesn’t give up on those who need him most. 5 out of 5 STARS!!!

I would definitely recommend Dr. Manov for psychiatric care! I’ve been a patient of his for years and can say that he truly cares about my health and well-being. He’s very knowledgeable and has consistently gone above and beyond to help me improve my mental health.
