Having seen a half dozen or so different Psychiatrists over the years, Dr. Manov has been my favorite by far. Yes, he is a little quirky and does push a little too much phlebotomy lab work(I hate needles - so twice a year is a lot for me), but he is willing to try whatever it takes to get your situation resolved. He knows his stuff, and his experience makes the try and see nature of psychiatry a little faster and more accurate than most doctors.
I have seen Dr. Manov over an 18 month timeframe, working to get the right medication(s) to mitigate my medication-resistant mental health condition. The timeframe should NOT concern anyone as it represents Dr. Manov's focus on fully managing one's condition. Dr. Manov uses specific documentation of one's condition, bringing in outside perspectives (spouse, close observers of one's condition (friends) to truly determine one's progress (or lack thereof and need for further medication needs).
Dr. Manov has been good to work with. He is accessible, listens well and works hard to try and solve the mental health issues for his patients.
