We stopped in last Saturday afternoon while wandering around the Hydrostone and were glad we did, the little seating area out front was perfect for people watching over coffee. My husband got the almond croissant and said it was flakier than anything we've had in ages, and my Americano was strong just the way I like it. The woman behind the counter was patient with all our questions about the neighborhood and even pointed us toward a good walking route afterward. Lovely cafe, great service, good selection of baked goods
I go here on a regular basis, though always take out. Love that the employees know my coffee order and enjoy the coffee card so once in a while get a free coffee. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The caramelized swirl is addictive! I've tried several of the sweets and never been disappointed. Squares - peanut butter, lemon, date. Pastries - caramelized swirl, apple strudel and croissants are some of my favourites. The quiches are tasty and filling! I could eat the ginger cookies daily if I let myself.
