Flat roof The surface of the flat roof over my extension was old and needed to be replaced. I also had some other roof-related questions. I did some basic research. Luc's recommendations were the most helpful, so I contracted the job to him. I shared the same experience with every other positive reviewer on this page. Ben and the crew were courteous, accessible, and professional. And a few weeks now and a couple rainfalls after the job was done, the flat roof up close still looks way better than it has in the past.
roofing Luc was very responsive to some roof damage and determined that part of the roof needed replacement. He performed this soon and did an excellent job. He has done other roofing replacement work for us in the past at this house, as well as at our other house in Toronto. His prices are in line with Toronto standards, and the work is always first class.
roof replacement Luc's Roofs replaced our roof and did a fantastic job. They were prompt, they cleaned up the work site and did the job within budget and time frame. I would highly recommend them. From the time Luc quoted us until the job was finished we were kept up to date when the work would start and the how it proceed.
Steep front shingled roof Probably a job of the century, removing a layer of old slate and two layers of asphalt shingles from our steep Victorian roof accessible only through a heavily landscaped front yard with two mature trees, numerous shrubs and flagstone retaining wall and pavement. Ben did a massive set up to protect the house, front porch and landscaping. Historic home shingle roof, new flat roof, replacement of skylight, carpentry to reslope flat roof and replace wood on rear dormer. We developed a leak following an extremely cold winter and after reading home star reviews called Luc's Roofers. The roof is a difficult one as the house is an historic Victorian with a very steep pitch on a narrow Cabbagetown lot with a large flat roof as well. Roofing of house and garage In the fall of 2011 I had my sloped roof and flat roof over the garage completed by Luc's Roofing. Ben Corriveau from Luc's Roofing was a complete pleasure to deal with - informed, polite and professional - and he returned this fall (after 3 years) to remove a hydro connecting post, as promised, and reshingle not only that area but a few spots where raccoons had tried to infiltrate the attic. New roof We've been using Luc's Roofing since we moved into this house in 1980 and he has earned our enthusiastic recommendation. Last December we incurred roof damage during the ice-storm. Our power was off and we were out of our house for eight days. The insurance company sent a contractor who told us that, in order to repair our roof, our power would have to be shut off for seven days while we stayed at a hotel. Roof replacement to today's standards Ben is the type of roofer you want to do your roof. He is very detail oriented and a perfectionist. His crew is very nice and polite. Our to do list: water/ice shield, whirlybirds, more vents, new exhaust cap and chose the more expensive heavy duty shingles. The roof is beautiful and heavy duty. Their workmanship is top notch! You can trust Luc and Ben.
