Excellent food, great salsas! Definitely coming back again and again and again!
The surfin California burrito is awesome, but I would skip the sides, like the beans that had zero flavor and the street corn which is canned corn with a little sprinkle of mayo and chili powder.
We checked it out because on google it said “kid friendly” older kids yes, toddlers and babies, not so much. You just have to hope there’s no one else using the one highchair. And don’t bring your stroller in, it’s very tight and most of the tables are high. But the surf and turf (or whatever it’s called) was yummy. I’d skip the guacamole and side of their corn dish next time.
It is always a stop on our list when we are in San Diego. Burritos are top notch and the various salsas they have are fantastic. Rolled tacos were smaller and harder than most other places. Love the decor. Parking is difficult.
Food was nothing special. Getting food “to go” took almost an hour.
