The table staff are fantastic. The new kitchen table concept and change in menu options do not appeal to me. I loved Monday/Wednesday Fried Chicken deal. The potatoes I had today tasted as if they were not washed-straight out of the dirt.
I am very unhappy with the removal of the Combo and LuAnn plates and the change to a la carte. I used to love this Luby's, and my husband and I were very frequent customers for years until the current changes occurred.

The food was great, had the best pecan pie. The wait staff service was great, the buffet line service was also great .. the only thing the cashier may punch in additional item onto your receipts & you won’t know about it until you sit down & look at your receipt. The line was long & you did not feel like going back to the line to speak to her. It’s only $2.29 drink that she added on to the receipt .. but just imagine 100 unsuspected customers, that is equal to over $200 ��
