Always a favorite place to eat when there is one nearby. My family has been going to Luby’s for 5 generations now and they’ve consistently had great food

salad, entrée, corn bread muffins, fruit salad, drinks. Great waitress took really good care of us.
I ordered a piece of German chocolate cake toward the last inch of the cake I turned it over so I could get icing and every bite when I flipped it over the side that was on the down side had red markings all the way across the coconut Icing. Visited this location on Easter Sunday I should have known something was off as it was peak time and no line. Everyone I came in contact with was friendly courteous and polite. I decided on the Luanne platter with chicken friend steak, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, gravy on the side and a wheat roll. The breading basically separated from the steak and was not crispy at all, the potatoes were lumpy and had hard chunks in them and the gravy I cant even explain it.
