I recently moved back to South Bend and didn't know the layout of the store. Everyone was so helpful! One of the employees even loaded my water softener salt into my vehicle! Excellent customer service, very much appreciated!
I live equal distance between this Lowes and the Mishawaka location and the customer service at the location is far superior. One if not more staff members always asks me if I need help, which really saves me alot of time rather than hunting all over. I go out of my way to come to this Lowe's rather than Mishawaka, it really is wild how two stores within such a close distance can be run so differently. Thanks SB!
I went in to buy a basic dryer so there really isn't much to say.
I recently had a poor experience at the Mishawaka location and was not expecting much help as I entered the South Bend store. What a completely different experience today!!! Not only did a gentleman from another department walk me to the complete opposite side of the store, he made sure I found the exact concrete block I needed. Love bringing my son to the build and grow workshops. Always a fun workshop to bring the kids to and teach them to build things.
Here's the deal why I rate this Lowe's a 3 star. I was buying a Christmas inflatable yard figure this morning, and when I checked-out, the cashier, Kayla, insulted me by asking if I have grandchildren who were going to enjoy the figure. No, I informed her, MY children would be enjoying it. I felt very insulted that Kayla assumed I was a grandfather instead of a father only because I have grey hair. She made me feel demeaned.
