I was extremely disappointed in Lowes today. My husband and I had a big list of items to purchase, but needed assistance. We asked someone to send an associate to help in electrical. After nearly 20 minutes an associate finally came and ask ed if we needed help. I told him I needed 6 LED lights, but only saw 2. He then said He didn't know, and he would find out. After waiting 10 more minutes, we finally gave up and went to Home Depot. :(
My Brother in law bought a lawn mower from them a year ago and also purchased an extended warranty. This is the second time it's been in the shop for warranty work. This time it was the drive belt and blades. They replaced it and are saying he owes $115!! First of all they have kept it for 3 weeks, then they didn't bother telling him that this isn't covered under the warranty before fixing it and didn't call him before they fixed it to make sure he wanted to put out the money on it! I use this Lowe's often. As a Veteran I do truly appreciate the discount. Today I went to check out at noon. There was only one register open and 4 people in line in front of me. Needing to get back to work, I used the self check line. After finishing scanning my items, I showed the lady working the self check registers my Military ID. She abruptly told me I COULD NOT use my Veterans discount in that line, as I had in other Lowe's stores. I had to go get back in the other line, which now had 6 people in front of me.
