I'm not sure why they offer a myLowes card when it doesn't work. It's like the Seinfeld episode where the take the reservation, but they don't keep the reservation.
Still waiting a week later for window estimates from a guy named Brandon, said he would mail them......uh huh lol Update.....just cancelled a contract with Lowes to deliver, install electric water heater. Contract was paid in full, they called within three days to confirm a plumber to do install, I called plumber, he did not know anything about said contract work, I called Lowes, they said we owed them more money, after we already paid?! If you've ever wanted a case study in physical comedy or a challenge to your normal errands, go to Lowe's for flowers during a spotty thunderstorm. Dodging in and out of the canopy was hilarious. Maybe it was because the rain, but I felt like I had to back track a lot. A sale offered here would be outta stock, but more stock would be over here in this other random place. Staff didn't offer advice on one soil versus another, but I wasn't picky enough to care in the end. Overall good experience.
I purchased carpet through the Lowes on Illinois road in Fort Wayne Indiana, It was a nightmare to start with! They were rude, they never called me to let me know and quotes, once I finally got them to show up, they only brought half of the carpet....Now that it is installed the seams are all showing, and there are tons of gaps in the padding. I can't get anyone to call me back or even show I am a customer! Horrible disaster I will tell everyone not to shop at Lowes!
I stopped in on Friday, 03/31 to purchase some perennials that were advertised as 3/$12. The plants I chose were clearly signed/grouped at the sale price, and noted discount would be applied at the checkout. They rang up at the full price and when I questioned it, the cashier said she did not know of any sale plants. She also did not offer to look at the sign or correct the price at register.
Worst carpet service period. Disorganized, no communication, endless turnover time from order to install. Has hit my business bottom line !
Went to this Lowes location twice in one day. Had a great experience both times! Had to buy another can of paint and was trying to find the right color blue for a room I'm doing over for my husband while he's deployed. Jerry in the paint department had me taken care of and gave me some laughs while I waited. Thank you for doing such a great job!
