We paid $1,900 for one side of our fence to be redone and they installed in April. The gates were not opening by May. They came out to assess the fence in both May and June. Said they would need to redo it. Dropped off the wrong material at the end of August. We called them and told them it was the wrong material and they said they would pick it up. Worst experience ever. Spent $6000.00 on carpet in August. Only needed 1400 feet of carpet. THEY sent 1700 feet. THEIR mistake of 300 extra feet. Of course they won't take it back. Have spent 2 months trying to get it righted. Ha! So after giving me the run around all this time, I was just informed that I will get a "gift card" for $76.40. We spent $3.48 per foot and now they are giving us basically 25 cents per foot of THEIR MISTAKE. We have spent thousands with Lowes in the past years, but NEVER again. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced with a hardware business. They dropped the massive proverbial ball 18 months ago with a botched flooring install. Now they dropped it on a hot water tank install. I’ve been waiting 7 days now and when I reach out to the subcontractor about why he wasn’t showing up he tells me he got a cancellation message from Lowe’s! So now I’m 7 days no hot water and no install time in sight � I only went back there because they carry the brand I wanted, AO Smith. What a disappointment that such... read more
