I purchased an oven on February 8th, 2020, and it was delivered to me damaged. The men that delivered the oven assured me they would put an order in for a replacement. About a week after that, I called the Lowes - Short Pump, on Pouncey Tract Road (where I purchased) and Keith confirmed a replacement oven was never ordered, but he would do it then. I went there to buy a fridge after finding out that Home Depot would not deliver the fridge I wanted, at any price, NO DELIVERY. The Lowes guy I dealt with was very friendly and professional, not only would Lowes deliver but for free and $20 to cart away the old one. So, Lowes got my $800 and Home Depot got nada.

I have a major problem with an 18 month old refrigerator, it won’t cool and the freezer just stopped working since I have purchased 2 other major appliances from them in a year and a half I thought they might try and help. If you don’t get the extended warranty just forget it! In 56 years of housekeeping I have never had to get an extended warranty on any appliance.
