Very unhappy with the delivery service from Lowes. I was unable to reach anyone on the phone till 3:30 pm when I was told that I was 8th in line for delivery. It is now 8 pm and I haven’t received my refrigerator or a call on the status of my order. My delivery timeframe was 8am-4:30pm. My kitchen is upside down and I have wasted a whole day on an order I assume is not coming today. Annoyed is putting it lightly.
Time to buy a new grill but you can’t buy any that’s on the sales floor. Unfortunately I needed one today. “They would have take one out of a box & assemble it, so it would be a few days before you could pick it up.” I wonder how many sales they lose? Good way to send customers to your competitors... just lost a $400 sale on a grill & other items I was picking up.
I was at Lowes' 8 January 2018 to order a Pella storm door and I purchased 4 Christmas gift card holders. They were 80% off ($2.97). They rang up $1.49. Head cashier told me it was the correct price as corporate office sets the price based on the ORIGINAL sell price and they cannot override. When I told her 80% off $2.97 would be $.60 I get a eye roll (from her), as she called corporate and later informed me corporate is giving them to me free. I had a very delightful sale person very accommodating, his name was Prince. He was very helpful and knowledgeable and answered all my questioned, he was easy to talk to and he focused on my needs and getting me the best prices not trying to sale me items that I wasn't interested in...I told him what I was looking for and he made it happen with detail information, the transaction went smooth from beginning to end, and it was a president sale store was full of customers...Thanks lowes for such great Service and a well knowled... read more
