This is the LAST place to go in Hillsboro to find ANYONE, much less someone behind the Customer Service Desk, who has the slightest idea of what they’re talking about. Once again this Lowes disappoints. We are Hillsboro High School last August we requested help building shelves for the band room so we could get instruments off the floor. The assistant store manager agreed total of 350.00 in building good retail probably 200.00 in wholesale cost. Day's before the project the store manager said they could donate the products.
Looked up what I needed online, online said they had every thing I needed. Asked two employees for help. I was told I have no idea what you are talking about, and then they walked away. I am sure the store had what I needed. The employees convinced me to shop online, elsewhere.
I like the comradery of the employees.
It may be time for a meeting with your associates. Not once, but *FIVE TIMES* over the last month, my husband was teased by your employees (some gentle, some not so much) because I was the one pushing a cart full of stone. Please take note -- equality is a thing, I am not a frail little princess, and I can damn well do ANYTHING my husband could do (some, even better). This is 2016, not 1916; get with the times, and instruct your employees to be less judgmental and sexist.
Their customer service has gone down the drain - literally. I went to exchange a First Alert Smoke Alarm that has one of those non-removable or replaceable 10 year batteries and they said..."its not their policy to warranty products with failed batteries." I argued that this is not the standard 9volt unit, this is one you cannot change out the battery. They treated me like I was an idiot! Very disappointed by the service from the flooring department. Not only did the rep that helped us, call repeatedly; but the last call came from a different phone number than usual and John took the opportunity to ask my spies out on a date. This is not the way I expect a reputable business to use a customers contact information.
