I ordered pavers from Lowe's. Two weeks later there was a notice on my door that they had come by to deliver them but no one was home. I called Lowe's. "oh, somebody put the wrong phone number on your order. I'll fix it." Two days later, another notice. I call again. "Oh somebody put the wrong phone number on your order. I'll fix it." Three days later, I have 200lbs of pavers on my front porch that I will have to find someone to move to the back yard. Thanks, Lowes!
Horrible customer service!! Waited 30 minutes in the lighting dept no one ever came to help. Yes, I asked for help, I pressed the button to call for help and no one ever showed up.
Before going to Lowes, I figured I would go give Home Depot a try. At The Home Depot, I didn't receive the customer service you would expect from a home improvement Store. However, when I went into Lowes, I was greeted, when I went to the plumbing department, i was greeted again and asked if I needed help. Everyone was helpful, everyone was in a good mood while showing smiles and providing genuine gratitude. I will never be caught in another Home Improvement Store other than Lowes.
We had a wonderful time at the Contractor appreciation day in Hermitage, Tn. It was an event that was much appreciated my myself and the other employee's of Nashville Builders. Many people were in attendance enjoying the fellowship. The free items were displayed and given to Contractors present. The food was exceptional and no one person left hungry. I rented a carpet cleaner and was not told (per the associates own admission) that I had to clean the bottom and essentially disassemble the machine to make sure to return it sparkling clean. This omission lead to me being charged a $20 cleaning fee. Not pleased at all that an associate's lack of training and diligence leads to increased cost on me.
Got everything I needed quickly and the sales associate was awesome !!
