I recently purchased an item at the Lowe’s in North Bergen, NJ on 11/8/2017 because I work in the area. I live in the Bergen County area so went this Lowe’s, on 11/10/2017 to purchase the same item and they would not honor the price for North Bergen, NJ. The receipt shows item not on sale, same item number. Sad part is was only a $14 difference. No more shopping at Lowe’s for me, back to HomeDepot.
Bad experience today, again. It's time to think about the changes.
Awful experience with store & delivery company (XPO) that resulted in having to cancel an order. NO customer service or follow-up made to customer when there was an issue with delivery truck. Unacceptable in this day and age. The whole situation could have been rectified with a phone call. Use Home Depot instead!
Bought a stove on Saturday. Lowes promised delivery Monday between 4:30 & 6:30. Didn't happen. I made many calls & was told they would call me back. They didn't. Finally received stove Wednesday, 1 and a half hours later then promised. Unfortunately for me, the stove was for my tenant whom I now have to compensate for 3 days without a stove.
Terrible Inventory System and not much better Customer Service....came in only because online said item was available in store (actually 4 In stock). Clerk could not locate nor was he interested in trying very hard to find them (he was going on break). Very unhappy.
I have been a loyal customer for some time now, today i went to buy a 5000 btu ac unit. When i presented my va card i was told they no longer accept or honor veterans discount, but i should go to companies web site and register. Not a way to treat veterans lowe's maybe its time to go back to home depot!
We've been doing some spring updates to our home locally and at the NJ Shore...bought new faucets, patio table, umbrella, spray paint for our garden display items....have been to the Paramus, NJ, Lowes, New York State Lowes on 303, and Lowes in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. Stores fully stocked, employees so helpful, customer service I would rate on a scale of 1 to 10....a 10! To Lowe's management, your seasoned, elderly folks are the BEST, go out of their way to help you.
