Very poor product return service. I will not be going back.
I would like to share the timeline of events I have experienced since choosing Lowe’s for my floor installation. I have been working with the employees at the Altoona, IA store. This has been the worst example of customer service I’ve ever experienced. Not only have I been waiting over a month for my install, the cost of the project has increased almost 40% from the initial sales contract!
Do not buy any appliances here, ever! Absolutely the worst customer service by far of any company I have ever dealt with. They sell you an extended warranty for your appliances then refuse to accept that the item is no good even after 7 trips from the company they contract out to repair their junk. 7 trips and this has cost Lowe's $2100 so far and the washing machine still doesn't work right. Rob, the assistant manager has been of no use. I would be ashamed to treat customers this way.
We just waited 30 minutes for someone to help us and we finally gave up. I guess we'll get carpet somewhere else.
Purchased a Weber grill from Lowe's via the internet, set for in-store pickup at their Altoona location. Was extremely excited that they were offering free assembly at this time. Was over a week, I called to check on the grill's status, and was told that it was ready for me to pickup. Arrived, it wasn't assembled. Not a huge deal, but don't offer a service that you can't fulfill.
