Bought an $8000 air conditioning installed and it died within six days. Lowes says You just have to deal with the contractor, nothing we can do. Do not buy from them.

I just want to say I always shop here instead of home depot or the other lowes. However, after today forget it. I've been wanting a citrus cocktail tree. So today I came in to buy it and couldnt find any. Inventory said 2 yesterday, so I asked an associate if she could look them up or check for me. She stated they cant look them up and just come back in a few weeks and look myself. So you're telling me, I can go online to check your inventory at home? But your employees cant check inventory at the store? Smdh

Lowe's put me through hell today to get my $0.40 veterans discount. I've received the veterans discount at this location before, but this time they couldn't find me in their system by phone number (hasn't changed), and so was told that I'd have to go to the Customer Service desk and re-validate my veteran's status. There they requested my phone number and my date of discharge. Really? I left and went to Home Depot and got an immediate discount -- with no problems.
