Great, respectful employees here! I love DIY furniture making. I went on my lunch break a couple of weeks ago to grab a 2x12 & 2x10. Antwuan (not sure if that is spelled correct, just glanced at his name tag) was very helpful. He made sure the boards weren't split or warped and loaded them on the cart for me. We went today for some 2x2's that needed to be cut. He said to find him when we were ready so I did. He cut the pieces to the three different sizes I needed. CONFUSION. Customer service is not customer friendly. Management doesnt know computer system.

I want to thank the people in bath dept. for being so helpful and friendly! I went in with a problem that i was not sure could be fixed! Without any hesitation the problem i had was fixed! It is hard to find good customer service and this was beyond my expectations! Thank you!
3 times in the last 6 months my family and I have had terrible service there. Very unhelpful in Schererville. Once they were unwilling to get us a bag of wood pellets because it was on a top shelf and they weren't bringing it down just for 2 bags. Had to have corporate call them to get it down. Then we wanted 6 lawn chairs, the guy finally came outside just to say he wouldn't unlock the chairs until we paid for them. I waited for assistance from an employee for a very long time and no one came to help. What's the point of a help button if no one answers it?
When I bought things for my bathroom remodel, my husband said he would pick them up at the store. When he got there, no one asked him if he needed help with loading. He had to take it out and load it himself. The order included a linen cabinet, medicine cabinet and floor tile. My husband is 68 years old and not in great health. I found this appalling. I'm sure there were younger, healthier employees to help him. I will not shop there again.
This place is beyond horrible!!! The wait for help is forever long, You have to find someone to come help you and the employees are rude and don't know what they are doing!!! Menards had way more employees willing to help and are very friendly!!!!!
This store is awful. It is difficult to find anyone to help you, and if you can they don't know anything. I tried to buy a snowblower here in November, but nobody could help me so I bought it across the street. Last night I was in the store, and again nobody there to help. I'm done. I just moved here from Orland Park where Lowe's is the best home improvement store in the area. Clearly in Schererville that is not the case.
