Management is a joke, except for a few....you know who you are.
Tried to rent a Steam Cleaner today. The cashier (who was very nice!) told me I needed to go to customer service. The woman at customer service was extremely rude when I told her I was instructed to come there, rolled her eyes at me and told me I needed to go to the register by the steam cleaners (where I JUST was)!!! Walked back down to the nice cashier and told her what the woman at customer service said and she was extremely confused and didn’t even have the key to open the gate and get the steam cleaner out. Went to Lowe’s today to buy several major appliances and had the rudest lady reluctantly try to help us. I finally gave up with her and took my business elsewhere! If employees got paid on commission, they might have a better attitude and be more helpful! Disgusted with Oxford Lowe’s!!
Waited 10 mins to get help in appliances. When help came, they were not knowledgeable on the product or availability. Didn’t offer to order a washing machine from Lowe’s on-line. Also had several people waiting for help too. We all decided to go to Anniston Lowe’s. Service was great and we got our washer ordered in less than 15 mins.
My wife and I were looking for a specific bath vanity. Unfortunately, our local stores were out of stock. We called the Oxford store yesterday and spoke with David. After a few minutes, he an store manager Forrest found the item and assisted with an over the phone purchase. Forrest also sent my wife an email confirmation of the purchase and assured us that the vanity would be ready for pickup the next afternoon. We called here before going. Our local Lowe's was out of the wood we needed & didn't know when they would get more. I confirmed with a man they had what we needed. We drove an hour to get here. The only pieces that were in teach were completely unusable. We found 3 & needed 40. The guy went to get the forklift to get down more for us. He came back & said the manager said no.
