This store needs to educate their return department concerning the warranty on Kobalt products. Kobalt is owned by Lowe's The warranty states that a defective product can be returned to Lowe's for a speedy replacement. No so. Twice I've been sent home and told to call Kobalt to return the product. Twice, I've called Lowe's main support and twice main support has called this store for resolution. I live about 20 miles away from Lowe's -- the excessive trips aren't a lot of fun.
Paid for a scheduled morning delivery. As far I know the word morning in our society implies before noon. Expecting the morning delivery, I arranged for a worker to be available in the afternoon to move the lumber ordered. As of this review, delivery still not here. Cost for the worker now my loss. Store management when contacted was well versed in all the corporate excuses for justifying piss poor service. I do not recommend the incompetent Forest City Lowes to anyone. I've been dealing with most of the departments at the Forest City store for the past couple months. I'm having extensive home improvements done. Employees have been knowledgeable and helpful from the get-go. Service has been great. Thumbs up from me.
