This quiet, elegant restaurant boasts an African mahogany bar, wrought iron fixtures and handsome chandeliers. Here, the chef offers a seamless blend of Creole and French creations. Blackened meats, such as the Blackened Buffalo Delmonico, are a specialty. Not in the mood for steak? Try the succulent Shrimp-and-Corn Gumbo. Served with rice and broccolini, it may be the best dish on the menu. The restaurant also offers great service, a fine wine list and incredible desserts.

Well kept secret for now! – One of the best food experiences in a long time was Louisiana's on Thursday March 22, 2007. While spending a few days at a Conference in Baltimore, we had dinner there at the recommendation of a friend. The food was so fabulous we returned to have lunch the next day only to find it serves dinner only. The escargot appetizer that I had was sumptious, baked in a perfect phyllo crust! My guest had the special which was a sweet potato soup, a perfect appetizer for the crusted catfish entree that follo... read more
is this really one of the best restaurants in Baltimore? – My husband and I traveled from Philly to spend a weekend in Baltimore, and we made Saturday night reservations here because we read that it was one of the best restaurants in Baltimore. From the beginning, things went wrong. We had a reservation for 9pm, and weren't seated until 9:45. While we waited at the bar for 45 minutes, the hostess didn't apologize once, explain what the delay was, or even offer to check our coats! [The bartender did give us a free drink, thou... read more
Don't Bother – After spending the past five years in Alabama with frequent trips to New Orleans, I was excited to fulfill my cravings of fried green tomatoes and crawfish. To be fair, I in now way expected my dining experience to be like my previous excursions along Bourbon Street and willing to look over the "crayfish" on the menu, however, I did expect good service and good food. Unfortunately, the experience did not include either one. First, the wait staff was pretty slow and unprofessional; not only did I get an eyeful ... read more
This elegant restaurant's Cajun-style cuisine is well worth the upscale prices. – The Scene Remember "Gone with the Wind"? Louisiana evokes that same regal Southern spirit. This is a classy, upscale restaurant, where diners might half expect Scarlet O'Hara herself to descend the dining room's sweeping staircase. The menu is typical New Orleans: French in tradition, Cajun in spirit. The Food An apple-glazed pork chop puts a bit of Southern culture on the tip of your fork: stuffed with apple-smoked bacon, caramelized onion and... read more
crawfish – I am a native of CAJUN country, Lafayette, Baton Rouge, New Orleans area. Crawfish boils, Mardi Gras, warm weather and very nice southern people. This restaurant reminds me somewhat of the atmosphere I miss most. One mistake people, we call them Crawfish not Crayfish, keep it real folks.
Wonderful – There is nothing that I could say that would begin to descibe this place. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to take someone out for a romantic dinner. Sit upstairs by the window sill if possible. Your sight line will give you the beautiful row homes. You will almost forget the busy street below.
Wonderful – great food, great wine and lovely atmosphere. Well worth the extra money.
