My review is solely based on sliced, moist brisket without bbq sauce. I believe good bbq should taste amazing and flavorful without sauce. I’m not a bbq “professional” but I have smoked my own meats and I also eat bbq about once a week always trying new places in the Dallas and south of Dallas areas. It was really really good!!!!
The sauce was amazing, the meat was awesome. I just wish they were closer to the DFW area! Guess that means I will have to come back. Oh, and the people were really nice, too!
Fatty Brisket a bit dry

I came from Melbourne Australia to visit Austin for bbq, I would be made if I didn’t head down the highway to Taylor to get some Food from Louie Mueller BBQ. I went for the brisket and their turkey. The brisket was really good, nice bark with a good amount of pepper. We got there a bit late around 2.30, but the brisket wasn’t dry it was still like it just came off the pit. The turkey was dam good too and the home made mustard sauce took it up a notch. Worth the drive from Austin

We got the stuffed baked potato with brisket and it was good. Potato could have been hotter as the butter was not melted until I smashed it into the potato more. The eating area was very warm with only slowly moving fans to help with the heat. I did have a large chunk of all fat in the potato.
The BEST barbecue!
