RecommendedWe got there close to two o’clock and there was still a line almost from the front door to the counter. My husband and I both got a loaded baked potato and he got a sausage sandwich. They were delicious. I had brisket in my potato. We also ordered the sampler that comes with sides and brisket, beef ribs, pulled pork and burnt ends to take home. Shortly after that they ran out of almost everything. Go early.
Lives up to the Texas Monthly Top 50 ranking. Best beef rib I’ve ever eaten. I live in Texarkana so Central TX BBQ is a rarity. Brisket was top 5!! Cool atmosphere also, the pits are actually inside the building. I would imagine it gets warm in the middle of August!! Bring your appetite!!
Food was too expensive. At best, it is average barbecue. Too much pepper. Beans didn't taste very good. Sauce was colored water. Wife said the potato salad was good, so there's that. Wanted to come here after seeing it on Food Network and was truly disappointed. I'll just stick with Billy Sims' Barbecue in Oklahoma.
Brisket was amazing and loved the Frito Pie!!!
BBQ brisket and pinto beans is great Only negative is standing in line to order It took some time But would recommend if you find yourself in Taylor Texas.

Only time she gets to drink a soda pop is when we eat at Louie Miller
It is so good. You just have to go and check it out.
Long wait in line. Thought it was pricey, but it was delicious. No complaints!
