I’ve been an owner renting out a single unit with Chatel for over 15 years and across multiple property managers. I am a Landlord myself in another jurisdiction but had rented from Chatel for a few years when I was posted in DC. Lou and the staff at Chatel made renting out my DC condo stress free. Lou is extremely knowledgeable about the market, neighborhoods, and tenant expectations. He found me great professional tenants and got top dollar for my rental. His team were phenomenal with navigating the DC licensing requirements, inspection, etc. Saved me so much time and effort. If you own DC rental property, do yourself a favor and hire Lou - he's amazing!
I have been renting from Chatel for over 5 years and have had a great experience with them! The original application/move-in process was seamless and my lease renewals have been stress free. In the rare cases that I have needed maintenance, Jimmy, Gio, and the maintenance team have been so wonderful - they are responsive, quick to turn things around, and flexible with my schedule. Not to mention that Lou, Craig and the rest of the Chatel team are also a pleasure to work with! Highly recommend!!
