Arrived around 8:30 AM Sunday, and was surprised to see open RV spaces. Went to hike the West Trail, done the East many times. The West is a little longer, and for me, prettier. One steep climb about a mile in, and a steep decline on the other side as well.

RecommendedGreat scenery! Trail throughout park is made up of gravel and broken limestone. Makes climbs and descents difficult. Be sure to put shoes on your dog's paws. Primitive Campsite C was amazing, Primitive Campsite A looked good too.
Great park with great views! More then 10 miles of moderate to strenios trails.
Black-capped Vireos and Golden-cheeked Warblers 😊
We loved it!!! Plan on going more often and bringing more along for the hiking, camping, and exploring the area. Already purchased the state park pass too😉
