I love this park. My dad took me here when I was little many times so here is where we spread his ashes. Beautiful hike and full of memories and great scenery. The only reason I'm not giving a 5-star rating is because of the rude park officer that ran into us on the trail. He told my niece and nephew that our little ghost story we'd been telling them wasn't true, and told us it was stupid, and was very rude to my father's best friend. We had a great time here. Everyone was friendly. Definitely will be going back again.
We take our Boy scout and Venture crew here every year for spring break and it is always such a great experience both for the new scouts as well as the older ones. We take the older ones on a backpacking trip through the trails and end up at the top where we make camp. The view from there is nothing short of amazing. We watch the sun set from the top. this year we got a chance to wake up in the clouds. A new experience each time we go. Very much looking forward to next years trip and we just left today.
